Orthodontic treatment is an excellent and sensible investment that provides long-term results. It positively affects the physiological and psychological well being of both children and adults. Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining this important health service. To determine the best way to manage your investment with our office, we have designed several payment options available for our patients. Our staff is dedicated to helping you achieve the smile you deserve. For your convenience, we offer the following plans.

With a reasonable initial payment, reduced fees for accepting payment from your insurance company and no interest on monthly payments, this is a budget friendly plan. Monthly payments are made in two ways to our office, either by automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank or credit card or by a monthly payment coupon book. All monthly payments on this plan are due on the 15th of each month. A decision to have your payment made automatically can be made any time throughout treatment. Please contact our office for more information on making arrangements for automatic payments.

Payment in Full Plan
A bookkeeping courtesy of 7 percent will be given for payment in full by cash or check at the start of treatment. A 5 percent courtesy will be given if paid by Visa or MasterCard. This discount is only available to those patients who do not receive an insurance discount in addition to their insurance maximum benefit.

Third Party Finance
This payment option is available for those who need the most flexible plan. With fast and confidential service, our lender, Capital One Finance will send payment to our office on your behalf, once approved for such a plan. Insurance
Dr. Romick realizes that understanding insurance eligibility, benefits and associated information can be somewhat daunting. Therefore, the front office staff are informed and well educated concerning such matters. However, due to the many insurance policies and the numerous changes that take place within these policies, it is a difficult task to interpret each individual policy. Although we do try to stay aware of these changes, it is not always possible. To help us with your insurance filing, please give a copy of your current dental insurance card to our front staff at your new patient exam.

In view of the fact that the legal contract is between you and your union or insurance company, it is in your best interest to know your individual coverage. Failing to comply with this suggestion could result in you, the patient or responsible party, being responsible for all costs incurred. Please contact your insurance company for exact benefits allowed for your particular plan. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts.

While we do not have a direct relationship with your insurer, we feel a responsibility to be as helpful as possible to you and, when necessary, to the insurer. We will therefore gladly file your insurance claim on your behalf and accept payment directly from your insurance provider. Any changes in insurance providers must be immediately reported to our office. Failure to do so may result in additional fees. If for any reason insurance coverage on the patient terminates, the remaining benefit then becomes the financial obligation of the responsible party. Keep in mind, orthodontic benefits are payable to our office over the course of treatment and are not paid as a lump sum payment. It is, therefore, important to keep insurance contracts active throughout orthodontic treatment to receive complete orthodontic benefits from your insurance provider.
